Mary Rose Mitchell
Mary Rose is a professional nurse with 21 years’ experience, holding a variety of positions at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH). In her current role as Program Coordinator of Academic Partnerships, she collaborates with nurse leaders and academic partners to provide high-quality student experiences and innovative academic-practice initiatives throughout the enterprise. As a nurse, she is committed to serving others with quality, honest, and solutions-oriented care. She received her BSN from Widener University and earned her MPA from New York University.
As Chair of the Catholic Women’s Conference, Mary Rose serves in the Office for the New Evangelization, and is responsible for overseeing the Archdiocesan Catholic Women’s Conference. She works closely with the planning committee to organize the annual event, managing all details to ensure its continued success. She has a strong desire to support women in strengthening their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mary Rose remains steadfast in her commitment to her faith and community. She is an active member of St. Gabriel Church in Norwood, PA, volunteers for A Baby’s Breath, participates in Walking with Purpose women’s ministry, and advocates small businesses such as local farms, restaurants, and boutiques.
She loves to travel, enjoys running and is a Pilates enthusiast. It is no surprise that completing the NYC Marathon is one of her proudest accomplishments.
